A guy wearing a Prince Valiant hair do, what looks like a Nehru jacket fused with Oliver Cromwell's collar singing in an annoying voice and dancing at a bus station.

Well, I've "ridden the dog" a few times in my life and I entertain serious doubts that the guy would make it from the bays to the front door. If he stops to take a whizz he's done for for sure.

We don't have any Sonic's around here although we do get their commercial.

Our last tour in Germany we watched German TV and we got a charge out some of the commercials.
The Kellog's Cornflakes one where in German you hear at the end, "Die Original" (dee o rig o NAL}. Also Irischer Fruling (sorry, no umlaut on this) Soap. German with an Irish brogue.

We used to enjoy old American westerns on German TV. They had Ken Maynard, Tom Mix, the whole nine yards. The program was Western's von Gestern. Westerns from Yesterday. It was a real hoot to watch Tom Mix kicking open the batwing doors of the saloon, gun drawn, stride into the place and demand, "Was ist los im diese Gasthaus!!!???"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
